Oracle 8i setup.exe aborts

Hi,



strange problem. I want to install Oracle 8i Standard Edition (8.1.6) on a
NT4-Server (SP4).



When I start the setup.exe nothing happen .... the task ends immediately.



The NT-taskmanager shows that no setup.exe is started. The same happens when
I try to install the 8i-client ....



Can anyone tell me what happens here ?
