lock wait

problem lock wait, ora 8.1.6

i have a problem of lock wait n the table with a request. How can i determinate the request, that generate the true lock wait and the request that lock the table ?

in level development what s it the solution to avoid the lock wait ?

in ABD, which the configurations solutions of the parameters ( pctfree, ilitrans, maxlist...) and the controls ?
