We also have the same configuration except that we use Oracle 9i.
Oftne i too see the LIBRARY CACHE PINS.


According to TOM KYTE, Increasing the Shared Pool (if it is already
sufficient) may infact exacerbate the problem after some time.
First see if your Shared Pool size is O.K.
See Library and Shared Pool statistics for your database.
Try pinning in the frequently used packages.
