This is just indicating you don't use the large pool. Your conclusion
is incorrect. Setting the large pool to 300k doesn't make sense where
the default is larger

Looks like a ridiculously high number to me. Do you have any proof
it's ok, by using v$bh to see what IS in buffer cache?
