Sam,

I'll second that recommendation. It is a great book. However, it onlyu covers up to Oracle 8.0.
Steven has said that he is updating the book for 8i (and possibly 9i too) but he doesn't have a release date yet.

In the meantime, I have also see another book on PL/SQL by the same two authours - only in reverse order - which is called Learning Oracle PL/SQL programming - see more here :
