Unfortunately not. This is to ensure that a specific user account only gets to use one named rollback segment. The OP is aware of SET TRANSACTION USE ROLLBACK SEGMENT BLAH but can't use it (or the equivalents you suggest) because this is a packaged app.

And cross posting means posting to more than one newsgroup in (vain) hope that you'll get a larger audience or more replies. All it actually does is waste bandwidth. Answering two questions (or more) in one post is fine so keep it up.
