hi everybody,
as you may have already heard,oracle has decided to add online
training requirement for Oracle 9i certification path.What that means
is just spending much more money to become OCP .To become Oracle 9i
certified you have an alternative way :you first become 8i OCP then
you upgrade to 9i.You have to pass a total of 6 exams which cost
6*$125=$750 ,much lesser than online education cost.
I am planning to try this solution to bypass oracle's unacceptable new
requirement.Since passing all these 6 exams will probably take
considerable time, i want to learn when exactly Oracle 8i
certification will be retired.
