I've read this a number of times and I just can't make it out. Even replacing 'instance' for another word doesn't help.

As for 30 instances on a single machine, no problem so long as the machine is good enough. I've worked places with 30+ instances on a single node for development purposes although most rarely had more than a few users. I've only seen this under UNIX(Solaris on E10K and HP-UX on V-Class, but not on Windows anything). It'd be interesting to hear about an actual installation of more than 10 instances under Windows; certainly there are hardware configurations to support this (Compaq Prolient for example).

I've read it again. Ha Ha Ha, very funnny. I guess this is not a telecomm... :)
