This is just a wild guess, but usually when Oracle updates an executable or library, it appends a '0' to it.

Thus, I would suspect that the executable that works, in this case ctxhxO, should be restored.

Thus, I'd backup the executable you are using now, and copy ctxhxO to ctxhx.
