Has anyone set OPTIMIZER_MODE to CHOOSE


in an Oracle Applications R11 11.0.3 environment ?



The recommended (or required/supported) value with R11 when it was
released against 8.0.4 was RULE.  We've upgraded
to 8.1.7 and I wonder if I can switch to CHOOSE
with better statistics collection and improvements
in the Optimizer.
