Hi everybody.
I have the following problem :
A unix process wait indefinitely for communications over an network and connect
to the database with a dedicated server. The shadow process associated (process server not background) increase his memory usage constantly. I see this by looking at the OS with ps. After a certain period of time, we must kill the process and restart it for freeing the memory.
The progression is over 0Ko to 500Ko by minutes with variations. But the memory is never freeing.
OS : AIX 4.3.3.0
Oracle : 8.0.6.2.0
Oracle's answer : migrate to supported version 8.1.7 Obviously, we can't for the moment.
Anyone as a idea or being confronted with that ?

Thanks.
