Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Oracle 9.0.1 on Tru64 v51A.

'lsnrctl status' (services or whatever) hangs forever:

LSNRCTL for Compaq Tru64 UNIX: Version 9.0.1.0.0 - Production on 12-MAY-2002 19:49:45 Copyright (c) 1991, 2001, Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.

Connecting to (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=IPC)(KEY=temipmap))

...... stuck forever ....

Obviously '/sbin/init.d/TeMIP_oracle_9.0.1 stop' hangs too.

# ps -efa|grep tns
root 1290 1 0.0 12:40:51 ?? 0:00.40
/usr/opt/tns/bin/tns_adv

root 1343 1 0.0 12:41:10 ?? 0:00.66
/usr/opt/tns/bin/tns_server

oracle 1715 1 0.0 12:41:32 ?? 0:00.21 [tnslsnr] <<<<<<<<
root 9527 1290 0.0 18:46:15 ?? 0:00.09
/usr/opt/tns/bin/tns_clerk -U root -u 0 -g -1 -m 0
root 10296 1290 0.0 19:16:47 ?? 0:00.17

root 11064 10729 0.0 19:50:35 pts/10 0:00.01 grep tns

Process 1715 ([tnslsnr]) cannot be killed eveny by "kill -9"

Thanks, Alek. Received on Sun May 12 2002 - 11:52:15 CDT
