I am moving data from an existing 8.0.5 server which uses it's own
tablespace names different from the default ones in 8.1.7. I however
do not want a "custom" structure, but want to use oracle's default
naming convensions for users and temp files, etc. Is there a way to
export the 8.0.5 data, and then import it into 8.1.7 without requiring
to have the 8.0.5 tablespace files on the system? So if I have data
in user_data, and want it to go into users on the import, is that
possible? Thanks.
