Are you maintaining the exact same structure? Any indexes? What type? Is all of the data strings? Or are there numeric and date fields? What pctused and pctfree? What block size?

You have provided a wholly inadequate amount of information for anyone to help you.

Then we can ask about RAID and other issues. <g>
