Help with NT4 and Windows 2000 Dual Boot Oracle Environment

We have a dual boot Win NT (d:) /Win 2000 (f::) development server. Oracle was installed under the NT4 environment to a shared area (g:). We wish to be able to access a single Oracle instance on the shared area from both Operating Systems. Currently, as you would expect there is only one database server environment (on NT4) this means that the Oracle services don't get started up when you boot into Win2000.

Does anybody have a solution, or perhaps some helpful hints on a possible compromise.
