Have you read the Oracle manual - the chapter regarding LMT ??? Quotation - 'When an object is created in a locally managed tablespace, Oracle uses its INITIAL, NEXT, and MINEXTENTS parameters to calculate the initial size of the object's segment'. So the parameters such as INITIAL, NEXT, MINEXTENTS of an *object* are important here...
