As an unemployed / displaced type, I can identify with this sentiment 1000%.

But it is generally management's fault for providing inadequate support agreements with Oracle and/or whoever ("Oh, we couldn't afford Bronze, so we have Obsidian, you know, the stuff they chipped sharp knives out of in the Stone Age?") and no documentation, etc etc. No peers to talk to, "What's a CSI Number?", all fun things that I wouldn't wish on anyone including someone who might be taking a slot that might have been my job. And after this many years in IT, there aren't many that could; problem is, nobody cares. Oh well.

As being prepared for being prepared for unemployment in perpetuity, unless I get a REALLY good job at Burger King, I can identify with all of this. But I didn't like seeing all the people biting this poor guy's head off.
