Hi, Murali,
Thank you so much! I will not reinstall. I believe the "lsnrctl status" will show the "newsid", because I saw the
name of those oracle processes include "newsid". I just wonder why the listener can pick up the correct SID without
confused by the Environment Variable. Now I understand.
