Oracle 8.1.6.0.0. at 32 or 64 bit ?

Hello all

Sorry if my question can se more strange.

I have one installation of oracle 8.1.6.0.0 on a server Sun 4500 with solaris 2.7

When i have installed the Oracle kit i haven't found any request about install 32 or 64 bit

Now i have discovered that Oracle is available for 32 or 64 bit; how depend this fact?

The installation is proposed from 2 different set of CD ?

What is the different of performance from 32 to 64 bit ?

Where i can find some info about my questions?
