Running sqlldr from remote procedure

Hi,

I'm running Oracle 8.1.7.2 on a Solaris box.

I call a C library from a PL/SQL procedure. The C library in turn calls a shell script that runs sqlldr.

This all worked well until a few days ago, when who knows what happened, perhaps the DBA did something he doesn't remember. I only mention this to say that this should work.

Now the shell script runs, but its call to sqlldr is unsuccessful. Its calls to system functions such as 'ls' work.

I tried a workaround by executing sqlldr directly from the C library. Still unsuccessful.

Please help!?
