ORA-1438 on Import (very urgent!!!!)

In order to defragment a single table on an 8.1.7 release I have exported it
using exp.exe. After I dropped the table I imported it with imp.exe and
received an ORA-1438 (value larger than specified precision allows for this
column).



How can this be? Any ideas?
