hi simone,
you could make a copy of the controlfile, and view with a fileviewer on your <unspecified> Operatingsystem if and where your database aspect your datafiles. the controlfile is binary, but you may identify the strings for the filelocations.
check your alertlog (if any) in what state the database was. with a litle luck you may recover (i doubt that)
