listerner problem

Trying to start the listerner:-



lsnrctl dbsnmp_start



gives me the following error.



/usr/lib/dld.sl: Invalid version for shared library:

/u01a/oracle/product/8.1.6/lib//libvppdc.sl

/usr/lib/dld.sl: Exec format error




Oracle 8.1.6.3.0. HP-UX 11. This is a new one on me - inherited system. It
seems to me that the listerner needs relinking. Anyone seen this before and
if so, how do I fix it?
