Problem when install oracle on redhat 7.1

After installing Oracle 8i (ver.8.1.6.0) on Linux RedHat 7.1 Seawolf.
When I try to run "startup nomount" command in the svrmgrl utility,
process of svrmgrl is bussed.


 What is wrong?
