You increase the SGA size by increasing the individual components that make up the SGA: shared pool, data buffer cache and redo log buffer. You need to run utlbstat/utletsat on your server to determine if these areas on your sga are inadequately sized. Also, you need to read a whole chapter on database performance tuning to effectively size these memory components of your SGA. Received on Tue Oct 30 2001 - 15:56:05 CST
