Each ASP page is presumably opening a separate request, indicating that OLEDB connection pooling isn't working perhaps?

The DB is hardly under stress. I can repeat the experiment with OCI written code with excellent performance. However, I have a need for ASP+ADO, which I just can't get to work at all well. I can't believe that I'm doing something uncommon here? Surely something must be wrong somewhere!
