It works fine when I use the standard connect string. But when I use the connect string that specifies the encrypted connection, I get the error. I went into this believing as you do, that it can't be that hard. I'm starting to wonder if I've somehow overlooked something extremely fundamental. Thus far, tech support has informed that the trace file indicates that the listener is unable to open the wallet file. Not sure why. This particular project is using an NT platform, which I don't have a lot of experience on, so I hope I'm not doing anything too stupid.
