Re: Installing Oracle 8i on Solaris 8 Intel Platform

The SPARC database will not work on an Intel platform. There must be an error in the Web site. In fact, Sun ships Oracle for Intel Solaris. I received my shipment last December and it came with v8.1.5 for Intel.
