Re: two CD-ROM disks included with Oracle8i Release 3 (8.1.7).

If you create an install dir and two subdirs called Disk1 and Disk2 on your hard disk, then copy the CD contents into them and install from there, the installer will recognise the structure and not prompt you to swap disks. There's a note in the AIX install doc.
