Password on Public Database Link

Hi.. sorry if this is a repeat post.. had some trouble earlier today
on different client.


With a database link, the user_db_links contains the password, wheras
the dba_db_links does not.


With a public database link, no one really seems to "own" it, so there
is only all_db_links, and dba_db_links, neither of which contains the
password.. the "identified by" clause..  Any simple answer to this?
