I don't know of an easier way than the following.

  1. Shutdown database and take a cold backup.
  2. Restore previous database from backup.
  3. Export table (start taking nightly exports to avoid this in the future)
  4. Shutdown database and restore data from cold backup
  5. Truncate table or drop it and restore from export you just took.
