display/download blob in webdb?

I'm running into a problem with something I'm attempting in webdb, be warned I'm still a
novice at this so I might be missing something obvious.

What I'm attempting to do, is display a user-queryable report or QBE form based on a view
that includes 2 BLOB fields. The idea being that the blobs each contain a file in the DB of
relevance to the record that they may wish to download. Every time I try to create a QBE or
report based on it, it errors out on on having the blob fields in there. So far the *only* way I've
been able to get it to run at all is to define it as a standard form, and specify the blob fields
as images. The drawback being, it's pretty much useless for the querying needed.

Can anyone give me a clue as to how to get around this? And/or a way to give the users an
easy way to download the files?
