[Q] Associating users to schemes

Hello,

is it possible to associate new users with a scheme, such that they can access the scheme's tables without prefixing the schema-name, i.e. SELECT * FROM EMP... and not SELECT * FROM SCOTT.EMP ?

My problem is that I have many unqualified references to tables in my deployment descriptors and I don't want to change them all to fully qualified references. I know I could do this with aliases, but that sound a little bit awkward to me.

The best solution for me would be to associate the users to the scheme.

Any suggestions ? Received on Fri Jun 30 2000 - 00:00:00 CDT
