YEEEESSSSS I got it working. That was the answer that fixed my problem. I created a DB id with the same username and password as the OS account. I then configured the preferred credentials to use the username and password of the OS and DB. Thanks for all the help.

I met the same error when i tried to import database.

Check your NT-user-accounts and Oracle-user-accounts - they must have identical passwords!

Now i've returned back to oracle8 so i don't know if it helps to you.

Send me info about solution if you find it.
