Could someone explain to me the function of the listener parameter
connect_timeout.



All I can find in the docs is the statement :



This command determines the amount of time the listener will wait for a
valid connection request after a connection has been started.



I have read and reread this and it still makes no sense to me. Maybe I'm
having a bad day!!!
