Hi all, couple of questions, any idea will be very much appreciated:

  1. I am trying to get Oracle to work with Operating System Authentication on NT platform but without any success. I created users with OPS$ prefix, set os_authent_prefix=OPS$ on init.ora file, operating username are the same as in Oracle (with OPS$ prefix). Am I still missing something?
  2. On my application, I am passing a / to open a sqlplus query tools, for example:( D:\Orant\sqlplus /). I got error message ORA-01004 default username feature not supported; logon denied. Currently I am on Oracle 8.05. I thought I got it to work on Oracle 7.3.4. Is Oracle 8.05 no longer support default logon on NT anymore? Is there a way to work around this?

Any help will be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
