I used to run Oracle 8.0.5 on RedHat 6.0 with 64 MB RAM and Pentium 200. I know people who run it even on 468/32 . It's ok for learning purposes. If you want to install Oracle 8i (8.1.5 or 8.1.6) the min. req. is 128 MB (256 is even better).2 Gig HD for the whole system should work ok (Apache, PHP..... ). William Stacy wrote:
