Re: Installing pro*C/C++ problem!, please help!

Most likely this is because you are using the installer from CD and the installer is not Y2K compliant.
Either reset your system clock or try getting a Y2k compliant installer. Regrettably I don't have the URL, but maybe you can find it in the archives at www.deja.com.
