Re: How to reinstall Oracle 8.0.5 but use existing DB files?

Hi,
The only thing you need to do after restoring the software is create the services.
Put you datafiles back put your init.ora file in the ORACLE_HOME/database directory and start up the database I have done this so I know it will work.
