Oracle 8i

We had an "outside source" design a database in Oracle 8i running on an NT server. He either died, or fell off the face of the earth. More than likely, he took the money and ran. He did not include nor give any of the admin account info other than user manager. Is there anyway to change the password to the dba account to gain access to the database??
