Oracle do not guarantee not to change the mechanism via which they create and/or refresh snapshots. Thus it is possible that there would (temporarily) be duplicate rows as a snapshot is refreshed.

Specifying a unique index (or constraint) could possibly interfere with the snapshot processing.
