Hi,
I have installed Oracle v. 8.0.5.0.0 on SuSE Linux. I start the db in svrmgrl with connect internal -> startup. So far so good, but when I try to start the listener with lsnrctl start listener I get the following:
-----------------------begin-------------

Listening on: (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=ipc)(DEV=6)(KEY=ORCL))
Listening on: (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=ipc)(DEV=10)(KEY=PNPKEY))
Listening on: (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(DEV=11)(HOST=192.168.1.23)(PORT=1521))
TNS-01155: Incorrectly specified SID_LIST_listener parameter in LISTENER.ORA
NL-00303: syntax error in NV string.
-----------end------------------------------------
I really don't know what could be wrong, has anyone an idea? Thank you.
