I can't help you on SUN but on my AIX

Yes it's true the limit it's 2Gb on the standard filesystem. But you have an option that's enable more than 2Gb files (Large file system)

Your options are :

1 - Split yours DBF files, for a 4Gb split into 4 pieces of 1Gb for example (user_1.dbf, user_2.dbf....)
2 - Use RAW datafile... no limits... (Hard drive limit...) Received on Thu Feb 03 2000 - 09:31:31 CST
