Agreed - I found 'Oracle8 Server Unleashed', by SAMS, was full of good practical advice. As well as giving a reasonable overview.

The editting is a bit iffy. One of the authors consistently muddles his RAID levels, but the section on RAID is pretty good. Some of the material is repeated a bit too often. Received on Fri Jan 21 2000 - 02:27:56 CST
