Oracle Application Server

I have an "Oracle 8i Release 8.1.5 for Windows NT" database running on NT sp4. On top of that OAS 4.0.6.4.0. The OAS installed successfully, but when try to start services through OAS Manager , it's not properly started and displayed a message to start it manually. Once try it manually through services panel it's given an error
called "Windows NT Internal Error".
Is there anyway of surviving this problem.
