Hello,



I am NOT a DBA, however I do have to backup the database. My problem is
when trying to backup the archive logs using RMAN I get the following
error:


RMAN-06089: archived log /oradata02/oradata/db/archive/1_31.dbf not
found or out of sync with catalog



I'm running Oracle 8.1.5 and RMAN
