I don't know of any online books but there are quite a few white/technical
papers around that may at least be a good starting point.
http://www.doag.org/orafaq/faq.htm is a collection od Oracle FAQs.
http://www.europa.com/~orapub/ has quite a few papers. And there are also
some papers on Oracle on our website http://www.metron.co.uk/
in the technical paper section.
