Can anybody tell me what the following error message means? I have
looked through the documentation and don't seem to be able to find this
related error.




Fatal OSN connect error 12154, connecting to:  local



I am trying to connect to my Personal Oracle 8 through sqlplus, but it
fails the the above error message.
