Re: LOCKING ON THE UET$ TABLE

UET$ is the used extent table. You might want to think of it as the underlying information for DBA_EXTENTS. The ST lock sounds like you're allocating another extent for space management reasons. Maybe you have a sizing problem here that wasn't appearing with the smaller snapshots?
