You mean an entry in the tnsnames.ora file on the server, right! I already used Net8 Easy config to make an entry and tested that from within the Easy Config and had no problems. It's only when I start a client connection that I loose everything. Even when I invoke svrmgr in the client sessions, it says TNS: Unable to connect to destination.
